 It came as a surprise to everyone when TV and movie actress-endorser Heart Evangelista signed for a two-year exclusive contract with the Kapuso network last Wednesday. Heart’s surprise transfer to GMA-7 was a decision made by her daddy and her newest manager, Anabelle Rama. Anabelle persuaded Heart to sign up with GMA now that she has no exclusive projects with ABS-CBN.
According to reports, Annabelle wanted Heart to be paired up with her son Richard Gutierrez for the longest time. She wanted Heart to co-star with Richard’s “Captain Barbell” and “Lupin”. But since Heart had “Pangarap na Bituin” and “Panday” with the Kapamilya network, the plan didn’t push thru.
Now that she is a certified Kapuso, Heart is very ecstatic to work with Richard as their latest soap opera “Asero” is underway. Aside from “Asero,” Heart will be a mainstay in GMA’s Sunday variety show SOP. She also has two other koreanovelas lined up. Speculations are going around that Heart could very well be the next Darna as GMA-7 plans to come up with a “Captain Barbell meets Darna” fantaserye. If the project pushes through, this could be a good career move for the actress.
Heart clarified rumors that she and boyfriend Jericho Rosales have not separated ways. In fact, Heart accompanied Echo to the airport when the actor left for a project in Malaysia for an ABSCBN-SBS network co-production. A lot of buzz are going around that Echo might be transferring to GMA-7 pretty soon to join Heart, however, we also heard projects lined up for Echo in ABSCBN, which include a primetime soap with Kristine Hermosa. |
