Fresh from their very successful Los Angeles Premiere showing of their movie Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo, blockbuster-tandem Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo, together with Derek Ramsay greeted the press and the film staff and crew, for their victory party after racking almost more than 140 million pesos in the box office.
Plans about turning SSS into a TV-series is still floating, but Derek Ramsay clarified that at this time no concrete plans about it have been laid out. What is clear though, is that Derek is set to team up again with Judy Ann Santos for a teleserye. In fact, Derek was with Juday in Los Angeles and they shot some scenes for their upcoming soap.
Ryan Agoncillo won't be a part of this project and rumors are buzzing that this might cause some friction between Derek and Juday's on-and-off screen partner, now that the two will have more time to talk and see each other in the set without Ryan.
"Hay naku, hindi mangyayari yun. They are my friends and Ryan knows me. They are very much in love with one another and ala ni Ryan na hindi mangyayari iyon." explains Derek.
Showbiz afficionados would remember that when Juday was still paired to Piolo, Ryan and the former had some rift. Words were exchanged and the gap between Piolo and Juday grew and grew. Although recently, the couple and Piolo already settled their feud and differences.
Going back to Derek, he also shared that he is still very much in love with Angelica Panganiban. In fact, the two has been going steady for five months now and the significant 'corned beef' recipe of Angelica, is still Derek's all-time favorite.
Derek also cleared up rumors linking his girlfriend to actor Jake Cuenca and that everything is purely gossip.
