CRISTINE REYES TO FINALLY SIGN WITH ABS-CBN!
By MJ Felipe
Christine Reyes

The buzz has been going on for weeks now: Is Cristine Reyes moving over to ABS-CBN? A lot has been written already about Cristine's impending transfer to GMA-7's rival station but it has been stalled due to legalities concerning her standing contract with her TV home network.

However, just last week, GMA-7 released a statement regarding Cristine Reyes' status with the Kapuso network.

"GMA has decided to drop Cristine Reyes from its roster of talents because of her attitude and behavior. She is welcome to leave the network that has a lot more serious artists to assign important projects to and develop into fine, professional actors. Thus being said, GMA network has now closed its doors on Cristine."

With the Kapuso network finally freeing Ara Mina's sister, a showbiz tipster confirmed to us that Cristine is set to officially sign with the Kapamilya network on April 9. She is set to sign contracts with her sister Ara Mina, who now appears daily in "Prinsesa ng Banyera", the top management of the network including ABS-CBN President Charo Santos-Concio and others.

Sporting a new hairdo, Cristine might be finally getting her dream project with "Eva Fonda, 16". This Alma Moreno-original will be an upcoming TV remake of ABS-CBN to replace "Prinsesa ng Banyera". Alma was delighted to hear that her movie project is going to be revived and would not mind joining the cast if offered.

“Eva Fonda, 16” was created by Pablo S. Gomez in 1976 under Sampaguita Pictures and helped the movie outfit revived its financial woes after hitting big time in the box office. This also marked Alma Moreno's career in the business and the spark of the so-called "bomba" films in the movie industry.
