Things are heating up in ABS-CBN's daytime TV series "Prinsesa ng Banyera" as the cast gets another makeover.
A very reliable showbiz tipster told us that Ara Mina, who came in the picture after Angelika dela Cruz left for GMA-7 last January, is set for an early curtain call. If the rumor is true, Ara Mina will be replaced by another sexy actress, Angelica Panganiban, who according to our mole will play a very important role in the afternoon soap and will ultimately reveal all the secrets surrounding the characters of Kristine Hermosa, Jaclyn Jose and the rest of the cast.
If you can recall, Ara Mina chose to be part of this soap over GMA-7's offer to her to play a mom role. She previously told the press that she isn't ready yet to play a mom role and would rather take the Kapamilya offer. But when Ara started with “Banyera,” she also stopped appearing at GMA-7's Bubble Gang, where she is part of the original cast.
On the other hand, just a few weeks ago, Kristine Hermosa's rumored new beau Oyo Boy Sotto was axed and his character was killed. Now, it was rumored that Diether Ocampo, Kristine Hermosa's ex-boyfriend, is set to be part of the show. However, Diether's camp denied such reports and affirmed that there's no truth to that rumor as Diether is set to appear opposite Claudine Barretto in "Maligno,” a suspense-thriller TV remake for the Susan Roces movie collection.
Going back to Ara Mina, we feel that we will see more of her in ABS-CBN should the rumor that she will leave “Banyera” is true. Remember that Ara has been instrumental in Cristine Reyes' transfer from GMA to ABS. Her younger sister will star in the TV remake of "Eva Fonda, 16", originally played by Alma Moreno. |
