ANGELICA PANGANIBAN RUSHED TO THE HOSPITAL
Hypertension, tonsils, or rumored pregnancy?

Last week, sexy and drama actress Angelica Panganiban was set to grace the Hot Air Balloon Festival in Clark Field Pampanga, together with other Kapamilya stars. However, her much-awaited appearance didn't push through after she collapsed on the set of Maging Sino Ka Man.

Our showbiz detective told us that Angelica Panganiban was about to leave the teleserye set when she suddenly fainted to the ground. The whole staff and crew of the show panicked, and hurriedly brought Angelica to the nearest hospital. Direk Rory Quintos personally talked to the doctor to find out what really caused the actress to collapse. Not long after, people started asking:  Was Angelica Panganiban suffering stress or something else?

Rumors started to spread that Angelica Panganiban might be pregnant. By whom? The logical candidate seems to be current beau and on-screen partner Derek Ramsay. We asked Derek how's Angelica recovering from the physical breakdown and if there’s any truth to the pregnancy rumors.

Derek clarified the rumors through text messages and told us that Angelica is doing better now. The check-up showed that the cause was in her tonsils.

"Ever since bata pa si Angelica, she's had problems with her tonsils. She had a blood infection because of her tonsils," explained Derek.

Angelica was confined for days and advised by her doctor to get some full-time rest. Some of the people close to the actress tipped us that the stress level from her work and the blood infection in her tonsils both combined to exact a heavy toll on her body, triggering the collapse. But as Derek said, Angelica is doing better now and her path to recovery is smooth sailing.

As for the pregnancy rumors, Derek just had this one to say: "That's so funny! Ask na lang Direk Rory (Quintos). She went (to the hospital with Angelica) and talked to the doctor."
