My sisters and I grew up browsing through Betty Crocker and Mrs. Fields cookbooks and turning our kitchen into a baking laboratory where recipes were tested and sugary inventions were born… And of course, watching the likes of Martha Stewart, Gale Gand, and Jacques Torres work their magic on TV, the urge to explore new flavors and techniques came spontaneously.
And when the opportunity to turn this favorite pastime into a business came knocking on our door, my sister Risha grabbed it in a heartbeat. And on July 19, 2008, The Cocoa Pantry (TCP) finally opened its doors… offering shelves of baking essentials and packaging materials from chocolate blocks, assorted flours, sweeteners, to multi-colored boxes, muffin cups, jars, pots, etc. We promise to rekindle your less than clandestine affair with baking, and will play dealer for your unabashed addiction to dessert.

We absolutely feel that dessert tastes a hundred times better when shared. And so, with my sister Patty’s knack for crafting decorative pieces and gift wrapping ideas, the Recipe-in-a-jar and the Baker’s Bowl were developed to spread a little baker’s love. It’s a cute little kit for some baking 101. (Note to men: Women adore guys who can bake!)
For a Cocoa Pantry-fied party experience, TCP offers fun and unique table centerpieces kids and adults will surely enjoy. With its playful mix of balloons, cookie-pops, party horns, and squiggly ribbons, it’s a party in a pot! (Who says it’s only at wedding receptions where guests can steal the centerpieces?)

But for those in dire need of a sugar fix, we have a little corner just for your sweet tooth. Fresh from our kitchen, indulge in our personal favorites like Soft baked Chocolate Chip Cookies (P15), Fudge Brownies (P20), Chocolate Decadent Cake, (P35) Ganache-filled Vanilla Cake (P35) Assorted Mini Chocolate Tarts (P30)…and some not-on-the-menu surprises. See you at The Cocoa Pantry!
