Mary Aguiling, a physician and dentist by profession, their passion for food has never taken the back seat in their careers. “My wife started out as a food concessionaire in UP, “shares Dr. Aguiling. “She also took a Home Economics class there which all the more encouraged her to expand the business in some way. We both enjoy food very much and one day we decided to put up A1 Catering Services.”
With a hardworking staff of eight members, A1 has catered to weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and other special occasions. Some of their more popular dishes are Chicken Cordon Bleu (ham and cheese wrapped in chicken, breaded and fried to a crisp), Pasta Carbonarra, and Beef Stroganoff. Other viands from their menu are Roast Beef with Mushroom, Baked Macaroni, and Fried dumplings. With reasonable prices that range from Php175-Php350, guests are guaranteed to be treated to a feast to remember…especially with decors and table set-ups to match.
Another notable thing about this catering service is their continually expanding menu. Dr. Aguiling says, “We update our menu every 45 days. My wife tests new recipes and we gather a few friends for a tasting. We get to entertain and do research at the same time…this is a really good training ground for us since we are looking into putting up a restaurant in the near future.”
