Kabalikat Civicom developed into a nationwide communication network of civic communicators, became a PRIME MOVER that immediately, or at the soonest possible time, responded to any exigencies or emergencies that arose. Since then, the Kabalikat Civicom, in a concerted effort to relate public need of development to responsible community communication, established network or radio assistance stations in various sectors of the locality. The work of educating the people in the dynamics of nationhood has become the primary program plans of Kabalikat network of communicators.
Almost years of existence, KABALIKAT CIVICOM – STA. MARIA, BULACAN created an image of responsible civic communicators within/outside Bulacan. Founded on 8th day of December 1996 by Mr. Gilbert Ignacio KC180-01 (former Kabalikat San Jose) through Mr. Jose de Gracia Jr. KC10-96 (Manila Central), Ptr. Teodemar Cruz KC180-00 and almost 30 active members, the group was been active in line of radio communication relay; relief & disaster operations; emergency & rescue response; traffic management assistance; civic actions activities; and other assistance that the group may render.
Kabalikat Civicom Sta Maria Bulacan is under the supervision of Kabalikat Civicom Region III with National Telecommunications Commission (NTC-R3) registration license number 192804 Station Call Sign 4ET-202 FB-00026-01 and Security Exchange Commission (SEC) national registration no. ANO-94-339.
Organized various programs and activities such as: Lingap ni Nanay (Medical & Dental Mission); Outreach for Kids (gift giving program); Drug Campaign Rally; Breakfast Feeding Program (Nutrition Month Activity); Oplan: Lakbay Alalay (SUMVAC) & Oplan Alaala (Oplan Kaluluwa) (motorist assistance program); and other civic action works that benefits our community.
Also participated in national and regional activities namely: National Wheelathon (1997); National Gift Giving Project (1996 - Nueva Ecija); Centennial Celebration (1998); Provincial Gift Giving Project (2000 – Dumagat Tribes); Payatas Relief Operations (2000); Tabang Mayon (2000); Aurora Province Relief Operations (2005). And official communication group of Angel_ito Youth Summer Camp (2000) and 10th Bulacan Council Jamborette (2001) and others.
Duly recognized non-government organizations of local/foreign agencies and government offices: Provincial Capitol of Bulacan; Office of the Congressman 4th District; PDCC; PNP; LTO; TMG; BFP; DOTC-ACTION CENTER; Office of the Ombudsman; Municipality of Sta. An auxiliary group of DOTC-Action Center / Sta. Maria Emergency Response & Traffic Assistance Group, Inc. (SERTAG) and official communication unit of Bulacan Volunteer Rescue & Communications Group, Inc. (BVRCGI).
As responsible civic rescue & communication unit, KABALIKAT CIVICOM - STA. MARIA serves as link to the complex network of active communicators not only in Bulacan but in the whole nation.
